SAPID promotes education and literacy as an important part of creating
opportunities for children and marginalized communities. Through
pre-school centres and Back to School initiatives, SAPID works closely
with communities to encourage children to access learning opportunities,
return to school and continue their education.
Education is supported not only through learning opportunities but also
through awareness of health and the environment. SAPID promotes School
Health and Environment Education to help children develop greater
awareness of healthy practices and the importance of a clean and healthy
environment in their schools and communities.
Through awareness activities, orientation, workshops and community
meetings, SAPID works to strengthen knowledge, participation and
opportunities for children and families. These efforts form part of
